Not all of my posts are about the weather although it's November and the current temperature is 21 degrees. I'm afraid to go outside, well not afraid, but just avoiding it because I dislike cold weather. There was a time when I would have gone on a ski vacation with friends because I enjoyed the camaraderie but those days are gone.
It's not that I no longer enjoy the company of my friends, but I am much better at negotiating vacation destinations - somewhere warm is now my permanent strategy! I worked on Black Friday so I wouldn't be tempted to brave the thrashing crowds for those silly deals. Prices for big-screen televisions were a little insane & I admit that I wanted to get in on those bargains but am glad I resisted. The deals were for mostly low-end stuff anyway.
This one is called "Cool Breeze" but definitely not because it's 21 degrees outside.

Purple Rain - Yes, winter is coming
It's the second week of November and the weather has just been quitter nice. Of course temps are cooling off but definitely nothing to complain about so far. I know it can't last forever but have to say a big thank you(!) to the weather man for keeping old man winter away for this long. Me 'n Photoshop have been busy and have several pieces to share. Will get them up soon. This one is "Purple Rain."
Chrome Red - End of daylight saving time
I do look forward to this day of the year when the time is switched back to normal and for the week that follows it definitely feels like I'm getting an extra hour of sleep. But the internal clock slowly catches up and soon I'm back to wishing alarm clocks had never been invented.
This one is called "Chrome Red". It's part of a bigger piece that I couldn't decide what to do with. I'm still deciding and cut this image right out of the middle. I like it but not sure that it's finished yet. More to come...
